This was an exciting year for summer camps!  We sent a record number of our youth!

In 2007, we had 27 youth enrich their spiritual lives at Living Springs Camp in Lewistown, IL.  We had 1 K/1st grade youth and 1 adult attend “My Shepherd & Me” camp, 10 2nd/3rd graders at­tend “72 Hour Beginner Camp”, and 8 4th/5th graders attend “Late Nite Camp” in June.  In July, 8 Jr. High youth attended “Summer Games Camp”. 
We also had 9 Sr. High youth attend “Youth In Missions” week at Lake Junaluska, NC, at the beginning of July.

These youth were blessed with the opportunity to deepen their   relationship with Christ, and fellowship with their friends from church, while making new friends.  They had the chance to find a new sense of independence, along with new ways to worship.  Through prayer, worship and activities, each youth was given a safe environment to grow and develop spiritually and individually.

The enthusiasm they brought back to the church was contagious.  We can hardly wait for the summer of ‘08!!!
