Camping Scholarships are the March Mission of the
Month.
As you can see on "Camps & Retreat" page, we offer camps for families and youth
through Senior High. We know the importance of offering these camps,
which are held at different sites through the Illinois Great Rivers Conference
of the Methodist Church. We know that these camping opportunities
can provide a safe environment for youth to gain independence and
self-confidence.
Camp can also provide encouragement, inspiration, challenge
and hope, allowing our youth to grow personally in Christ.
As the costs of camps continue to rise, we are asking for you to support
our Mission of the Month. On March 14, all loose offering and designated
checks (checks made out to the church and have “camp” on the memo line)
will go toward camping scholarships. Thank you!
